Glasgow Zine Fest operates as an accessible festival – here some of the ways we ensure inclusion for all participants:
We are based in CCA, Glasgow where there is a lift to all levels, accessible toilets, street level access and screening rooms have a hearing loop system.
All events at Glasgow Zine Fest offer a concessionary rate for unwaged, low waged or anyone who has a disability – these rates are available on all priced tickets and we do not require proof upon purchase. Complimentary tickets are available for any carers who wish to attend.
All screenings will have subtitles and talks/panel discussions will have BSL interpretation.
Content notes will be produced and publicised ahead of any scheduled event that may have content that could be troublesome for any guests attending.
Toilets during the festival are gender neutral.
Glasgow Zine Fest operates a policy of tolerance, inclusion and accessibility – any participants or guests of the festival are asked to follow this policy. Anyone found to be making anyone feel uncomfortable and acting in contradiction to our ethos will be removed and will not be allowed to return to the festival.
If at any point during Glasgow Zine Fest you feel uncomfortable, please do contact us either face to face or at firstname.lastname@example.org
